By car

Motorway A18 Messina-Catania, exit Giardini Naxos.

By air

Catania Fontanarossa (CTA) is the closest and most convenient airport from and to Giardini-Naxos. It is located at about 55 km (35 miles) from Giardini-Naxos. It is connected by direct flights to the major Italian cities such as Milan, Rome, Naples and Venice and to many European and international cities. It’s possible to rent a car at the car park in front of the airport. All major rental companies are present (SIXT, Avis, Hertz, Maggiore, Auto Europe). Alternatively you can use a Taxi service. From the airport, you can reach Giardini Naxos in about an hour, following the A18 motorway towards Messina, exit at Giardini-Naxos.

By train

Taormina railway station is considered one of the most beautiful in Italy, thanks to its elegant Sicilian liberty style. Every train that arrives from northern Italy stops there. There is a wide choice of trains, from the fast and luxurious “Trainline” or“Eurostar”, to the simple but efficient “Espresso”; they generally leave from Milan, Turin and Rome, via Naples and the Amalfi and Capri coast.
